Jutta Dieing (M.A.)

Jutta Dieing studied musicology, German language and literature and art history at the University of Regensburg. After having finished her master's degree she studied cultural administration at the Vienna Conservatory. At the beginning of the 1990s she took part in organising the MDR Musiksommer in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. In Düsseldorf she was in charge of a concert artists' agency and planned concerts and productions nationwide.

She was the first organiser of cultural events in a German museum to develop interdisciplinary projects combining music, literature and the visual arts. Since 2005 she has been responsible for the conception of the annual cultural programme of the Organisation of Bavarian State Spa Cities and the programme of the Kissinger Winterzauber. Furthermore, she initiated the Kissinger Osterklänge music festival. The ambivalence of passion, agony and emotion is the motto of this new festival. In 2009 the festival examines the connections between religion and music, and the concerts demonstrate the intensive interaction of agony and emotion in the Holy Week.
